Technical Information

The Safetread™ Non-Slip Stair and Flooring System is manufactured with high quality fibreglass impregnated with isophthalic resin. An inseperable bond is created between the silicon oxide and the glass reinforced plastic (GRP), ensuring a long-term integrity of the slip resistant surface. It offers good thermal shock and corrosion resistance. Each sheet is finished with a high performance polymetric coating system, that offers outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance.

    • Maintenance / Cleaning

  • Remove spills immediately from the surface, washing with water
  • Pressure wash on low setting periodically to remove dirt from between grit
  • Check regularly for damage and arrange for repair as required

    All grip grades of Safetread™ Non-Slip Stair and Flooring System sheets have surpassed the minimum requirements of the 'low potential slip' rating specified by the UK Slip Resistance Group Guide 2000. Please see below for details.
