Quick and easy to install Safetread™ stair nosing offers a cost effective, long term solution to help comply with the final stage of the Disability Discrimination Act, with particular reference to the visually impaired.
The Disability Discrimination Act, in essence, indicates that all stairs accessed by members of the public should have a contrasting coloured nosing fitted to all step edges and in addition such stair nosings should provide a slip resistant (non slip) surface - particularly when wet.
Safetread™ Stair Nosings are available up to 3660mm long and is 70mm deep to aid mechanical fixing with a 55mm nosing. These nosings can be fitted to any stairs for a safe, non slip environment.
